{"id":9612,"date":"2025-06-20T12:14:22","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T11:14:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/proves.jgingenieros.es\/?p=9612"},"modified":"2025-08-05T12:17:55","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T11:17:55","slug":"jg-honoured-with-the-2024-best-infrastructure-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/proves.jgingenieros.es\/en\/jg-honoured-with-the-2024-best-infrastructure-award\/","title":{"rendered":"JG honoured with the 2024 Best Infrastructure Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1753777964019{margin-top: 50px !important;padding-right: 10px !important;padding-left: 10px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221; width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; el_class=&#8221;fullwidemobile&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Proud to share a major milestone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On June 11th, we had the honor of receiving the <strong>Best Infrastructure of the Year 2024 in Catalonia<\/strong> \u2014 the Albert Vilalta Award \u2014 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consellinfraestructures.cat\/es\/actualidad\/noticias\/ix-nit-infraestructures-cadic-es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>9th Nit de les Infraestructures de Catalunya<\/strong><\/a>, organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consellinfraestructures.cat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CADIC (Consell Assessor d\u2019Infraestructures de Catalunya)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The award was granted for the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/proves.jgingenieros.es\/en\/portfolio\/barcelona-data-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merlin Edged Data Center project in Barcelona<\/a> (BAR 01)<\/strong>, a project that embodies innovation, sustainability, and the future of infrastructure.<br \/>\nIt was collected on behalf of JG by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/juan-gallostra-isern-4261915\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Juan Gallostra<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/vicens-garcia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vicens Garcia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At JG, we\u2019re deeply grateful to @Merlin and @Edged for their continued trust in us \u2014 not only for this milestone but also for their two other major projects in Getafe and Portugal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Congratulations to all fellow award recipients, especially:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The promoter (<a href=\"https:\/\/es.edged.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merlin Edged<\/a>), led by David Naranjo Olmedilla<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.torrellaingenieria.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Torrella Ingenier\u00eda<\/a> we share the Design award.<\/li>\n<li>The construction company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vopi4.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vopi-4<\/a>, represented by I\u00f1aki S\u00e1nchez Sautua.<\/li>\n<li>And other key contributors: <a href=\"https:\/\/hhangus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HHAngus<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/levitec.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Levitec<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/homuproject.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Homu Project<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to <strong>CADIC<\/strong> for the flawless organization and for continuing to promote excellence in infrastructure.
